Through this agreement, More plans to invest 20.6 billion KRW over the next three years starting next year to establish an AI data center and research hub for physical AI demonstration at the Jeonbuk Tech Biz Center in Jeonju. The company also plans to hire around 20 specialists who will be responsible for AI research and development as well as data center operations.

The Jeonbuk Physical AI Data Center Project aims to establish a core computational infrastructure that will drive the growth of the regional AI ecosystem. This will be achieved by building a next-generation, world-class physical AI data center that can be applied to key industries ranging from semiconductor design to agriculture and defense.

More's strategy is to realize a next-generation data center architecture with outstanding scalability and cost efficiency through the efficient use of GPU resources and cluster optimization technology. In particular, the company plans to move beyond the expensive NVIDIA-exclusive structure by combining various AI hardware-including AMD and Tenstorrent-with More's differentiated infrastructure software technology, thereby building a low-cost, high-performance AI infrastructure ecosystem.

Once the AI data center is established, startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, universities, and research institutions in Jeonbuk Province will be able to utilize high-performance AI computing resources without having to purchase expensive equipment themselves. The on-site application of AI technology is expected to accelerate across a variety of industries, including smart farms and agricultural biotechnology, secondary batteries, carbon and future vehicles, as well as defense, robotics, and autonomous driving. Jeonbuk Province also plans to link More's AI infrastructure as a common foundation for multiple projects in connection with its ongoing physical AI demonstration initiatives.

Jangwon Cho, CEO of More, stated, "We will strive to develop this into a successful public-private partnership model that generates synergy by combining the technological innovation capabilities of the private sector with public infrastructure and policy support."

Meanwhile, More is developing the core engine of its AI infrastructure in-house, and through its foundation large language model (LLM) specialist subsidiary Motif Technologies, the company has secured comprehensive technological capabilities spanning the entire model domain. More is also strengthening its strategic collaborations with global AI infrastructure partners such as AMD, Tenstorrent, and SGLang.
