Yeoncheon County in Gyeonggi Province held the "2025 Work Improvement (Innovation) Plan Evaluation Meeting" on the 15th, aiming to diagnose and improve conventional and repetitive work methods and provide better administrative services.

This evaluation meeting focused on 130 work improvement plans submitted by each team in January of this year.
Among these, the first practical review was conducted on 31 outstanding cases submitted independently by each department, and the top eight were selected. A presentation review was then held for the eight selected cases, resulting in the selection of one team for the Grand Prize, two teams for the Excellence Award, and five teams for the Encouragement Award.
The Grand Prize was awarded for "Improvements to the Operation of the 32nd Yeoncheon Paleolithic Festival in 2025." The Excellence Awards went to "One-Visit Processing for Building Register Civil Applications and Registration Requests" and "Notification Service for Remaining Balance on Child Meal Cards." The Encouragement Awards were given to "Operation of the Pre-Consultation System for Military Consultations," "Promotion of Good Price Stores," "Unification of Land Division Survey Applications and Land Use Applications," "Promotion of Pre-Inspection Checklist for Acquisition Tax on New Buildings," and "Advance Promotion and Support Enhancement for the Opportunity Income Support Project for Farmers and Fishermen."
Ryu Hoguk, Deputy Governor of Yeoncheon County, stated, "I hope this will serve as an opportunity to reflect on the conventional and passive work methods of the past and open the door to change," and added, "Please continue to make even more innovative and proactive efforts to improve work processes, so that all county residents can experience administrative innovation."
