Pledis Entertainment announced on December 17 that Dokyeom and Seungkwan, the main vocalists of the group Seventeen, have formed a unit and will release their first mini album, "Soya Song," on January 12 next year.
The "Soya Song" trailer, titled "An Ordinary Love," was released by Dokyeom X Seungkwan through the official HYBE Labels YouTube channel. It tells the stories of couples standing on different paths. The trailer features Dokyeom unable to hang up a call that goes unanswered, and scenes of lovers who, despite being in the same space, seem to exist in different worlds, with their moments crossing paths.
The album title "Soya Song" means "Serenade," or "a love song sung at night." Dokyeom X Seungkwan express various moments of love-such as boredom, misalignment, and new beginnings-through emotional storytelling that captures the journey between meeting and parting.
