Seongnam's Policies and Daily Life Captured Through Citizens' Eyes... Sequential Release Begins December 19

Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor: Shin Sangjin) has selected 14 winning entries for the "1-Minute Seongnam Story" 2025 Seongnam TV Short-Form Video Contest, which introduces major municipal policies and everyday life through short videos produced directly by citizens.

This contest was held under the theme "Seongnam's Policies and Daily Life Through the Eyes of Citizens." Participants were asked to choose one of the following categories and create their videos: ▲Citizen Health Support (vaccinations, dementia prevention) ▲Healing and Cultural Spaces (Yuldong Park Auto Camping Site, Mulbit Garden, Reading Square Library, Barefoot Loess Trail) ▲Environmental and Urban Life Improvement (installation of benches and trash cans, Grade 1 water quality in Tancheon Stream) ▲Fourth Industrial Revolution (autonomous delivery services, drones, future mobility).


Entries were accepted over a two-week period from November 12 to 25. After expert review, the winners were selected as follows: one Grand Prize (2 million won), two Excellence Prizes (1.5 million won each), three Encouragement Prizes (800,000 won each), and eight Finalist Prizes (300,000 won each).


The Grand Prize winner, identified as Mr. Lee, said, "I wanted to capture Seongnam's cultural and healing spaces from the perspective of the younger generation, as I naturally encountered them on social media. I am very honored to receive the Grand Prize for content that showcases the diverse charms of Seongnam that any citizen can enjoy."


The operator of the Seongnam TV channel stated, "A wide variety of works depicting policies and urban scenes from the perspective of citizens were submitted. The winning entries will be released sequentially through Seongnam TV starting December 19, and will be actively used as promotional content for municipal administration in the future."
