The Community Contribution Recognition Program (CSR in the Community) is a system that identifies and recognizes companies and organizations that have consistently engaged in community contribution activities in partnership with nonprofit organizations. It has been implemented since 2019.

The evaluation is conducted rigorously based on 19 indicators across seven categories in three areas: environmental management (E), social contribution (S), and ethical management (G).

The corporation received excellent evaluations across all aspects of ESG management, achieving the milestone of being recognized for three consecutive years since its first recognition in 2023.

This year, in particular, the corporation further enhanced its significance by receiving a commendation from the Gyeongsangbuk-do Council on Social Welfare for its contributions to community engagement.

Gumi Urban Corporation, as the first local public enterprise to announce the "Together Plus" social value brand, has implemented a variety of initiatives utilizing its resources and strengths. These include: installing customized ramps for the mobility-impaired through a local problem-solving platform to create a "barrier-free city"; expanding ESG management support within the region through cooperative networks; operating the "Visiting Environmental Science Class" to address issues such as low birth rates and regional extinction; and carrying out 31 relay social contribution activities by department in celebration of Social Contribution Month.

President Lee Jaewoong of Gumi Urban Corporation stated, "It is very meaningful to be selected as a recognized institution for three consecutive years and to receive a commendation from the Gyeongsangbuk-do Council on Social Welfare. We will continue to communicate with the local community, fulfill our social responsibilities as a public institution, and pursue warm, sharing-oriented management that local residents can truly feel."
