The Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 16th that, together with the animation platform Laftel, it held a 'K-Animation Screening' for local residents at CGV Naju in Jeonnam on the 10th.
On this day, the theater version of the webtoon-based animation 'Yonghan Girl' was screened. Local residents participated in the event, including two local children's centers in Naju, and children with relatively fewer opportunities for cultural experiences were also able to attend through cooperation with local care and welfare facilities.
The Korea Creative Content Agency stated, "This event was organized in response to positive feedback from the local community and additional requests for screenings following the first event held on November 19."
Lee Hyunju, Head of the Content IP Promotion Division at the Korea Creative Content Agency, said, "We hope this will provide an opportunity for cultural experiences for local children and residents," adding, "We will continue to expand regionally customized cultural sharing programs and work to reduce cultural disparities between regions."
