At 2:30 p.m. on the same day, the city held a "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign Donation Ceremony for Neighbors in Need" in the mayor’s office, attended by Sinsangjin, Mayor of Seongnam, and Junho Park, Senior Pastor of Pangyo Sarang Church, among others.

The donated items include: 2.5 million won in cash for neighbors in need; 14 dehumidifiers worth approximately 2.6 million won; and 400 hope boxes, each containing 18 types of items such as instant noodles, soup, seaweed, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, valued at about 20 million won in total.

The city plans to distribute the cash donations to nine group homes for children, while the dehumidifiers and hope boxes will be delivered to low-income families and vulnerable groups, respectively.

Pangyo Sarang Church made this donation as part of its participation in the "Sharing Love with Each Other during the Year-End and New Year" campaign, aiming to put warm-hearted sharing into practice.

Earlier, on December 2, Seongnam City installed a "Love Thermometer Tower" in the city hall lobby as part of its fundraising campaign to help neighbors in need. Donations can be made through "Sharing Love with Each Other during the Year-End and New Year" counters set up at 54 locations, including city hall, district offices, and local administrative welfare centers, or via the account of the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea.
