According to Jeonju University, this project focused on strengthening the job expertise of students at Jeonbuk Bakery High School and reinforcing the local settlement foundation, with the aim of fostering regional innovation professionals equipped with creative and convergent capabilities.

This year, the Jeonju University RISE Project Group established a convergent education model that goes beyond traditional F&B-centered education by integrating design fields, such as the development of school BI and practice uniforms, with XR-based digital educational content. Through this, a future-oriented education system organically linking education, branding, and digital technology was established.

During the project period, Jeonju University systematically operated a variety of education and career support programs to strengthen the capabilities of Jeonbuk Bakery High School.

An educational ecosystem was created to support student growth from multiple angles, including strengthening practical expertise, building the school's brand, and linking XR-based immersive education, while simultaneously enhancing field-based training and career exploration.

In particular, the development and advancement of Jeonbuk Bakery High School's signature menu using local agricultural specialties improved both product quality and practical adaptability, while also producing educational outcomes connected to the school's unique brand identity.

Through a mentor-mentee program involving students from Jeonju University's Department of Korean Cuisine and Jeonbuk Bakery High School, high school-university linked learning was activated. Separate competency-building training was also provided to university student mentors, further enhancing their educational aptitude and practical guidance skills.

The BI and practice uniform development project, promoted in line with the school's mid- to long-term direction, was evaluated as having strengthened both students' sense of belonging and their professionalism. In addition, by introducing XR-based content, students were able to experience immersive educational environments, making it a noteworthy educational model that aligns with the digital transformation trend in the culinary and food industries.

Kim Suin, Professor at Jeonju University's Department of Korean Cuisine, stated, "This RISE project is significant in that it established a convergent education system integrating design, branding, and XR technology, going beyond simple education. The collaboration with Jeonbuk Bakery High School will serve as an important example of creating an educational ecosystem where local youth can learn, grow, and settle in the region."

Meanwhile, based on these achievements, Jeonju University plans to further strengthen cooperation among high schools, universities, and private companies to expand convergent, practice-oriented education.
