Sharing Collected by Gyeongju Children: Entire Proceeds from Hyupore Children's Center Bazaar Donated

On December 15, nine staff members and children from Hyupore Children’s Center, located in the Hyupore Yonghwang Apartment Complex in Gyeongju and led by Director Kim Kyunghee, practiced warm sharing by donating 1,062,400 won in neighbor-helping funds to Gyeongju City Hall.

This donation was made even more meaningful as the children and staff personally organized an ESG bazaar and raised the funds by selling secondhand goods.

Director Kim Kyunghee stated, "It was meaningful that the children were able to learn and practice the value of sharing together. Although it is a small gesture, I hope this warmth reaches neighbors in need."

Yoon Cheolyong, Director of Welfare Policy, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply appreciate this precious act of sharing by everyone at the children’s center. The donated funds will be used carefully to support neighbors in need."

The donated funds will be delivered to vulnerable groups in the local community through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea in 2026.
