This performance sharing meeting was the first official event to share the achievements of Yangpyeong County's resource circulation education. Residents, organizations, and stakeholders who participated in the education throughout the year gathered to reflect on the significance of practicing resource circulation and to discuss future directions for development.

The event was divided into two parts. The first part began with a choir performance by children from Gangsang Daycare Center who completed the infant and toddler waste separation education, followed by a presentation of best practices from Yongdam 1-ri Village's resource circulation village project, a report on the achievements of the 2025 resource circulation education, a special lecture by the governor, and a pledge to practice resource circulation.

The second part featured a plaque unveiling ceremony to commemorate the selection of the program as an Excellent Environmental Education Program by the Ministry of Environment, as well as Yangpyeong County being named the top institution among local governments with public waste treatment facilities serving populations under 200,000 nationwide.

In addition, members of the Yangpyeong Resource Circulation Center Residents' Countermeasure Committee, including Chairman Park Taesoon, participated in the event and presented bouquets to two education instructors who led resource circulation education throughout the year, expressing their gratitude.

In 2025, Yangpyeong County operated a total of 94 resource circulation education sessions, including on-site experiential resource circulation education, mobile waste separation education, infant and toddler waste separation education, and education on reducing single-use items. A total of 2,337 residents participated. This represents a significant increase in both the number of sessions and participants compared to the previous year (71 sessions and 1,569 participants in 2024), demonstrating the high level of interest and engagement among residents in practicing resource circulation in daily life.

In particular, the mobile waste separation education, which was delivered directly to community centers and local events, and the waste separation education for infants and toddlers, received a strong response as customized new programs tailored to residents' needs. Additionally, the on-site experiential resource circulation education was designated as an Excellent Environmental Education Program by the Ministry of Environment.

In his special lecture, Governor Jeon Jinseon stated, "Resource circulation is not just the result of administrative efforts, but a change created by the practical actions of each and every resident." He added, "Taking this performance sharing meeting as an opportunity, we will continue to promote education and field-centered policies so that a culture of resource circulation created together with residents can spread even further."

Meanwhile, Yangpyeong County plans to further expand mobile and customized education by age group using the Resource Circulation Center as a base in 2026, aiming to create a clean and attractive Yangpyeong where 'good disposal and good circulation' are practiced in daily life.
