Park Gongwoo, Standing Auditor, Wins Consecutive Excellence and Achievement Awards in Audit and Integrity Ethics
The decision to treat integrity as an investment rather than a cost has paid off.
On December 11, Korea National Oil Corporation received the Grand Prize in the Integrity and Ethics category at the "2025 Korea Auditors Conference," hosted by the Korea Association of Auditors.

This award is given to the institution with the highest level of anti-corruption and integrity practices.
The Korea Association of Auditors is a research organization composed of over 700 standing auditors from more than 300 public and private sector companies.
Korea National Oil Corporation has especially focused on identifying and intensively improving areas within the organization that are vulnerable to corruption. As a result, last year, the company achieved a Grade 2, an excellent rating, in the comprehensive integrity assessment for public institutions conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
This year, the company is pursuing a variety of initiatives to spread a culture of anti-corruption and integrity, including efforts to raise integrity awareness among executives and employees, with the goal of achieving the highest Grade 1 in the comprehensive integrity assessment.
In addition, Park Gongwoo, Standing Auditor, was recognized for his significant contributions to audit professionalism and the spread of integrity and ethical culture by winning the Excellence Award in the Auditor category of the "Proud Auditor Award" and, on December 12, the Achievement Award (Cheongbaekri Award) from the Public Institutions Auditors Association.
Park Gongwoo recently became the first standing auditor of an energy public corporation to obtain the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification, strengthening the audit capabilities of public institutions to an international level. He has continuously made multifaceted efforts to establish thorough internal controls and to enhance the company's integrity and ethical management.
Park Gongwoo stated, "This award is the result of the entire organization's efforts to substantially strengthen our internal control system. Going forward, we will further advance our audit system with a focus on prevention, continuously improve any weaknesses in internal controls, and do our utmost to ensure that all of the company's work is conducted based on transparency and accountability."
