Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Wins 2025 Korea Digital Advertising Grand Prize for "Gift Insurance"

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on December 15 that its "Gift Insurance" advertising campaign won the Grand Prize in the Digital Video (Series) category at the 2025 Korea Digital Advertising Awards (KODAF).


The Korea Digital Advertising Awards (KODAF) is the largest digital advertising awards ceremony in Korea, organized by the Korea Digital Advertising Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The "Gift Insurance" campaign was highly praised for its creative approach, reinterpreting insurance not just as a form of protection but as an everyday experience of care and consideration.


The "Gift Insurance" campaign consisted of a total of four series, including a general edition, overseas travel insurance, golf insurance, and one-day car insurance. All of these products have been among the most popular lifestyle-focused offerings with customers this year. The concept naturally resonated with the ability to deliver these products instantly as a "gift" when needed.


The campaign received an enthusiastic response after its release. The series accumulated a total of 27.96 million views, 53,000 likes, and around 4,700 comments. The campaign was organically featured in various TV programs and influencer content, sparking customer interest in the new culture of gifting insurance.


This year at KODAF, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance further demonstrated its digital marketing competitiveness by winning a total of three awards, including for the Gift Insurance campaign. The "National Safe Driving Competition" won the Gold Prize in the Techtainment category, while the "Karreu Campaign" received the Bronze Prize in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category.


A representative from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance stated, "Gift Insurance is establishing itself as a new insurance experience that delivers reassurance and encouragement, going beyond traditional perceptions of insurance," adding, "We will continue to expand the gifting feature to a wider range of products to offer services that are even closer to our customers' daily lives."
