Toss announced on December 15 that it will launch its job matching service, "Toss Alba."
Toss Alba is a service within the Toss application that allows users to browse job postings and apply directly. The main target users are Millennials & Gen Z, and the service integrates job search features needed by these generations within the app, aiming to connect daily life and finance into a seamless flow-from securing income opportunities to asset management. Through this, Toss aims to accelerate its transformation from a financial service to a daily life platform.
For the launch of this service, Toss signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Albamon (operated by JobKorea), the leading part-time job platform in the industry. Verified job postings from Albamon can now be browsed within the Toss app. Users can apply immediately using the profile they created on Toss. Application information is linked with Albamon, and if users do not have an Albamon account, they will be automatically registered based on their Toss login information.
The two companies plan to monitor the service’s performance over the next six months and jointly work on enhancing integration and expanding features to improve the user experience.
A Toss representative stated, "We hope that Toss Alba will make it easier for both job seekers and employers to access verified job postings," adding, "We will continue to expand lifestyle-oriented services to further strengthen Toss’s role as a daily life platform."
