Starting in Seoul and the Metropolitan Area, with Plans for Gradual Nationwide Expansion
Next-Day Delivery Guaranteed for Packages Received by 6 p.m.
GS25 is introducing a new courier service that offers faster delivery speeds and reasonable rates.
GS25 will launch two types of next-day delivery services, Tomorrow Standard and Tomorrow Courier, on the 29th of this month. Provided by GS Retail.
According to GS25, the convenience store operated by GS Retail, the company will launch the "Tomorrow Standard" and "Tomorrow Courier" services on the 29th of this month. These services provide faster delivery compared to existing courier options, while maintaining reasonable shipping fees.
Both "Tomorrow Standard" and "Tomorrow Courier" guarantee next-day delivery for items received before 6 p.m. Pickup and delivery are handled by Dillybox Central, and customers can use these services every day of the week except for holidays.
"Tomorrow Standard" operates in the same way as the existing half-price courier service, with drop-off and pickup at GS25 stores. Items with a combined length, width, and height of up to 80cm and weighing up to 5kg can be shipped at reasonable prices: 2,400 KRW for packages up to 500g, 2,800 KRW for up to 1kg, and 3,200 KRW for up to 5kg.
"Tomorrow Courier" delivers packages to locations specified by the customer, similar to standard courier services. Items with a combined size of up to 160cm and weighing up to 20kg can be shipped, with rates ranging from 3,500 KRW for packages up to 350g to 9,100 KRW for up to 20kg. Both services are currently available only at stores in Seoul, with plans for gradual expansion nationwide.
To celebrate the launch of these new services, GS25 will hold a "Guess the Name of the Courier Service" comment event from December 15 to 28. Fifty winners will receive chicken coupons, while 2,000 participants will receive a 500 KRW discount coupon for the new courier services, aiming to enhance customer engagement.
In 2019, GS25 became the first in the industry to introduce the ultra-low-cost "Half-Price Courier" service using its own logistics infrastructure, continuing to drive innovation in everyday logistics services. Last year, the company expanded its half-price courier service to connect the mainland and Jeju Island, and further extended coverage to Ulleungdo, Yeonpyeongdo, and Baengnyeongdo. With the launch of "Tomorrow Standard" and "Tomorrow Courier," GS25 is providing faster and more affordable courier options, strengthening its role as a nationwide logistics platform for daily life. Going forward, GS Retail plans to continue expanding the guaranteed next-day delivery areas and to further enhance its convenience store-based last-mile logistics infrastructure, consistently improving customer accessibility.
Lee Kyunghan, MD of the Service Product Team at GS Retail, stated, "Tomorrow Standard and Tomorrow Courier are services tailored to consumer trends that demand both fast delivery and reasonable rates," adding, "We will continue to expand as the most convenient courier platform for daily life, leveraging our nationwide network of GS25 and GS The Fresh stores."
