SK Ecoplant announced on December 14 that 1,000 employees have completed the 'C.O.R.E Training Program,' an initiative designed to strengthen employees' capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation (DT), just four months after its launch.
The C.O.R.E Training Program is a competency-building initiative that SK Ecoplant launched in March 2025. The program's name is an acronym derived from four key competencies: Change mindset (open-mindedness toward change), Open to AI·OI (understanding of AI and operational improvement), Ready to be great (pursuit of excellence), and Encourage synergy (enhancing collaboration based on synergy).
The C.O.R.E Training Program is conducted through SK Group's educational platform, MySunny. The curriculum includes not only an understanding of SK Group's management systems but also programs focused on increasing AI utilization skills and understanding operational improvement (OI) through themed modules.
SK Ecoplant is also promoting specialized training courses to strengthen its comprehensive semiconductor service capabilities, which are among its core business models. A representative example is the 'High-Tech Solutions Master's Program,' which has been operated in collaboration with Sungkyunkwan University since 2022.
An SK Ecoplant representative stated, "Beyond simple training, we are providing comprehensive support so that all employees can lead change and realize innovation," adding, "We will continue to focus on developing future-oriented competencies that contribute to establishing sustainable business models and enhancing corporate value."
