This year's competition saw a total of 13 teams (58 participants) take part. After the document screening, 10 teams (46 participants) advanced to the finals, where they fiercely competed based on the feasibility of their startup ideas and their potential contributions to the local community.
The competition evaluated the teams primarily on their ability to solve regional problems, the potential for industrial application, and the feasibility of launching a startup. The process included document screening, mentoring, and presentation evaluation in that order.
The finalist teams presented practical and field-oriented startup ideas across various sectors, including future mobility innovation, smart factories, disaster safety lifestyle, integrated medical, beauty, and leisure tourism services, as well as regional win-win and urban regeneration. Experts in industry-academia cooperation and entrepreneurship served as judges, and participants were also given opportunities to enhance their ideas through mentoring and educational programs.
Among the 10 finalist teams, the "Hanbang Nanum Donghaeng" team from the Department of Korean Medicine Materials won the grand prize. The following teams also received awards:
▲ Excellence Award: ISO (Department of Radiology), Fire Killer (Department of Electric Vehicle Engineering)
▲ Outstanding Award: Skinnix (Department of Medical Skin Care), Medi-start (Department of Nursing)
▲ Encouragement Award: MGY (Department of Electrical Engineering), Tetris (Department of Medical Skin Care)
▲ Finalist Award: Double Synergy (Department of Medical Skin Care), Wise Daily Life (Department of Nursing), Movement (Department of Medical Skin Care), for a total of 10 award-winning teams.

We will continue to provide ongoing support to build a startup ecosystem that grows together with the region."
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology plans to provide mentoring, commercialization consulting, and startup incubation programs for the winning teams. The university also aims to expand its regional cooperation network and will continue to operate various programs that promote youth entrepreneurship and contribute to solving community issues.
