A man in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, was apprehended by the police after fatally stabbing a man he had never met before at a restaurant in Wonju, Gangwon Province.
According to the Wonju Police Station on December 12, Mr. A was arrested at around 8:10 p.m. the previous day on charges of stabbing to death a man in his 50s whom he encountered for the first time at a restaurant in Myeongnyun-dong, Wonju.
The victim was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but was pronounced dead.
The police are investigating the specific circumstances and motive behind the crime.
