Civil Complaint Processing Standards and Procedures
Hapcheon County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on the 11th that it has produced a civil service manual booklet to provide convenience in civil complaint services and has placed it in all departments of the Hapcheon County Office.
The Hapcheon County civil service manual was first compiled in 2022 in accordance with laws related to civil complaint processing, aiming to offer convenience in civil complaint applications. After three years, it has been completely revised and produced to make it easier for both civil service staff and applicants to use.
With the publication of this manual, residents can now easily check various civil complaint-related laws, processing standards, and procedures by department and township, as well as all necessary information for filing complaints. In addition, by applying updated laws and forms, the manual will help civil service staff ensure continuity in their work when personnel changes occur.
Although the civil service manual could previously be accessed through the "Open Civil Complaints" section of the Hapcheon County official website, the decision to provide it in booklet form reflects a commitment to convenience for the elderly population, who frequently visit in person, thereby addressing the unique demographic characteristics of the county.
County Governor Kim Yooncheol stated, "Since most residents may face difficulties from the very beginning of applying for various statutory civil complaints, we have distributed the manual to all departments so that visitors to the county office can check it regardless of which department they visit, thereby providing greater convenience."
