Younha stated, "I wanted to share the love I have received from my fans with future scientists," adding, "I hope that students studying physics and astronomy will be able to focus on their studies without financial concerns and grow into bright talents who shine like stars in the night sky."

The scholarship, named the "2026 Blue Lighthouse Younha Scholarship Donation," will be used to support outstanding university students majoring in physics and astronomy. The Korea Student Aid Foundation will select 20 students each semester and award 2.5 million won per student.

Younha has consistently shown her interest in space and science, releasing songs inspired by astronomical concepts such as "Event Horizon" and "Oort Cloud."

The agency announced that Younha and the Korea Student Aid Foundation plan to continue supporting university students from low-income backgrounds who major in basic sciences. Younha will meet her fans at the small theater concert "Shining Winter," which will be held at Samsung Hall, Ewha Womans University in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, starting January 9 next year.
