Dermatologist and broadcaster Ham Ikbyung pointed out that even if a Nobel Prize-winning doctor were involved, it would still be illegal in regard to the suspicion surrounding Park Narae's "nurse aunt" administering injections.

On December 9, Ham Ikbyung appeared on CBS Radio's "Kim Hyunjung's News Show" and shared his thoughts on the injections Park Narae received. Regarding the photo of Park Narae lying down and receiving an injection, he said, "I can't tell what kind of injection it is, but I have seen online that she was receiving injections such as nutritional supplements or energy boosters."

He also mentioned that advertisements for services where someone comes to administer injections, like Park Narae's nurse aunt, are circulating online. Ham Ikbyung explained, "If a patient who has been under the care of a primary physician becomes unable to move, it is possible to administer an IV drip outside a medical institution, and a doctor may prepare a kit and send a nurse. However, all of this must be done under a doctor's instructions, and the medication must be distributed according to a prescription."

He emphasized that it is clearly illegal to receive injections at home unless the patient is paralyzed or unable to move. Ham Ikbyung pointed out, "It is unclear whether the person administering the injection is a doctor, and it is also uncertain whether the location is a hospital. The place where the injection is being given is probably not a hospital either."

However, he predicted that the likelihood of Park Narae being punished is low. He said, "Legally, it is usually the person who performs the illegal procedure who is punished, and there are very few cases where the person who received the procedure is punished. If the person administering the injection is an unlicensed medical practitioner, that person (the nurse aunt) would be punished. However, if Park Narae knowingly continued to contact and meet with the person for unlicensed medical procedures, then she could become legally entangled."

Regarding the nurse aunt's claim of holding a foreign medical license, he emphasized, "Even if a Nobel Prize-winning doctor were to come, it would still be illegal." Ham Ikbyung stated, "Even if someone has a foreign medical license, performing medical procedures in Korea is illegal. Even a Nobel Prize-winning doctor can only provide consultation, not perform medical procedures."
