Dermatologist and broadcaster Ham Ikbyung pointed out regarding the suspicion surrounding Park Narae's "nurse aunt" that "even if a Nobel Prize-winning doctor comes, it is still illegal."

On December 9, Ham Ikbyung appeared on CBS Radio's "Kim Hyunjung's News Show" and shared his thoughts on Park Narae's injection procedure. Regarding the photo of Park Narae lying down and receiving an injection, he said, "I can't tell what kind of injection it is, but I've seen online that she is receiving vitamin or energy-boosting injections."

He also mentioned that advertisements for people coming to administer injections at home, like Park Narae's nurse aunt, are circulating online. Ham Ikbyung explained, "If a patient who is regularly seen by their primary physician is unable to move, it is possible to administer an IV drip outside of a medical institution, and a doctor can prepare a kit and send a nurse. However, all of this must be done under a doctor's instructions, and the medication must be distributed according to a prescription."

He emphasized that if a person who is not paralyzed or bedridden receives injections at home, it is clearly illegal. Ham Ikbyung pointed out, "It is unclear whether the person who administered the injection is a doctor, and it is also uncertain whether the location is a hospital. The place where the person administering the injection works is probably not a hospital either."

However, he predicted that the likelihood of Park Narae being punished is low. He said, "Legally, the person who performs the illegal procedure is usually punished, and there are few cases where the person who receives the procedure is punished. If the person (the nurse aunt) is an unlicensed medical practitioner, she would be punished. However, if Park Narae knowingly continued to contact and meet this person for injections, fully aware that it was an unlicensed medical procedure, then she could be legally implicated."

Regarding the nurse aunt's claim of "holding a foreign medical license," he stressed, "Even if a Nobel Prize-winning doctor comes, it is still illegal." Ham Ikbyung emphasized, "Even if someone has a foreign medical license, it is illegal to practice medicine in our country. Even a Nobel Prize-winning doctor can only provide consultation, not perform medical procedures."
