[Market Focus] Chemtros Accelerates Revaluation by Joining HBM Value Chain... Gains Expected from China-Japan Tensions

Chemtros is showing strong performance. The company's stock price appears to be influenced by the news that it has completed mass production facilities for semiconductor process materials, a new business area, and has finished trial production and quality inspections, signaling the start of full-scale operations. Expectations for a corporate value re-evaluation are also rising as Chemtros joins the high-bandwidth memory (HBM) value chain. The recent escalation of tensions between China and Japan has increased interest in photoresist, a key semiconductor material, which is also seen as a factor driving the recent rise in the company's stock price. Chemtros produces essential materials for the photoresist process as well as electrolyte additives.

As of 11:05 a.m. on December 8, Chemtros was trading at 6,020 won, up 13.58% from the previous trading day.

Stunning Value recently analyzed that Chemtros invested approximately 25 billion won since the second half of last year to complete a semiconductor material plant in Jincheon, Chungbuk. The company is producing polymer, a core material used in the photoresist process. Polymer is an essential component of photoresist, which is indispensable for semiconductor manufacturing. The yield of polymer determines the performance of photoresist.

Chemtros, which produces core materials for photoresist used to form circuit patterns on wafers in semiconductor processes, is expected to benefit. With the growth of the artificial intelligence (AI) industry, it is estimated that the company's sales will increase by more than 50% next year.
