According to the Presidential Office, at 2:00 p.m. on this day, Kang Hoonshik, Chief Presidential Secretary, Kim Yongbeom, Chief Policy Officer, and Wi Sungrak, Chief of the National Security Office, will hold the "Presidential Office Six-Month Performance Briefing." They will present achievements by sector and then proceed to a Q&A session. Senior secretaries from each office will also be in attendance. The entire briefing will be broadcast live on KTV.

The event will begin with opening remarks by Chief Secretary Kang (approximately 10 minutes), followed by presentations divided among the chiefs and senior secretaries of the Policy Office and National Security Office, each lasting around five minutes. According to the Presidential Office, this will be an opportunity to directly explain the President's governing philosophy, the restoration of the administrative system over the past six months, and the resulting concrete achievements. The briefing is also expected to provide insight into the direction of national governance for the next four years and six months.

Chief Secretary Kang plans to broadly review all areas, focusing on the normalization of the national administrative system since the launch of the Lee Jaemyung administration on June 4, including the people's livelihood economy, diplomacy and security, and political and institutional reforms. He is also expected to explain the process of reorganizing the national control tower following the December 3 Martial Law Incident, changes in the operation of Cabinet and senior secretaries' meetings, and attempts to restore bipartisan cooperation.

Chief Policy Officer Kim is expected to focus on achievements such as the conclusion of the Korea-U.S. tariff negotiations, measures to revitalize the stock and capital markets with the goal of reaching "KOSPI 5000 points," real estate and household debt measures, and fiscal and budget restructuring. Other major topics will include the recently announced 2026 budget framework, a 27 trillion won expenditure restructuring, and consumer coupons and livelihood support packages.

Chief of the National Security Office Wi will provide a comprehensive summary of multilateral diplomatic achievements, including the Group of Seven (G7) summit, tours of the Middle East and Africa, Korea-U.S., Korea-China, and Korea-Japan summits, as well as participation in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and Group of Twenty (G20). He is also expected to explain the "national interest-centered pragmatic diplomacy" policy and North Korea/security strategies. Briefings will also cover discussions on revising the Korea-U.S. nuclear agreement, supply chain and critical mineral diplomacy amid U.S.-China competition, and plans for a peace regime and security on the Korean Peninsula.

Ha Jungwoo, Senior Secretary for AI Future Planning, will also attend the briefing and is expected to introduce the progress of the national artificial intelligence strategy, which aims to make Korea one of the "top three AI powerhouses." He will summarize policies to expand AI infrastructure, build data, semiconductor, and cloud ecosystems, foster AI talent, and expand AI utilization in government and public sectors, as well as present the future roadmap.

During the Q&A session, questions are expected to focus on recent key issues, including follow-up schedules for the Korea-U.S. tariff negotiations, additional investment talks, the roadmap for prosecution and judicial reforms, constitutional amendment discussions, and the ongoing personnel confirmation process in the National Assembly.
