Official Awards Ceremony Organized by the Korean Society of Color Studies
Design Capabilities Highly Recognized in Architecture and Interior Category

Hyundai Engineering announced on December 5 that it has received the 'RED (Innovation) Award' in the Architecture and Interior category at the 23rd Korea Color Awards.
The Korea Color Awards, organized by the Korean Society of Color Studies and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, is the only official award ceremony in Korea for color design. It recognizes outstanding cases across all fields, including urban landscapes, environments, architecture, and interiors.
Hyundai Engineering won this award for the exterior design of 'Hillsstate Sosa Station,' which was designed in collaboration with Decopia. The complex is located near Gyeongin-ro, which connects Incheon and Seoul, and serves as a residential-commercial mixed-use facility acting as a gateway to Bucheon.
The overall exterior features a calm yet grand image by contrasting dark-toned colors with various materials such as glass, stone, and brick. Curtain wall glass finishes and a building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) system were also applied.
The interior podium space on the lower floors was praised for bringing vitality to the entire complex by using ivory-toned stone, curved arch designs, and bright lighting. This area was created as an open space not only for residents but also for the local community.
A Hyundai Engineering representative stated, "This project demonstrates our design capabilities through contrasts in color, material, and form," adding, "We will continue to enhance customer satisfaction with designs that reflect local character and spatial identity."
