Gyeonggi Province held a review meeting on December 5 regarding its support project for organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology.
On this day, Gyeonggi Province hosted the "Display Technology Development Support Project Progress Check and Meeting," where officials from research institutes and companies gathered to review the progress of the project and discuss future support directions.
About 20 participants attended the meeting, including representatives from the Next Generation Convergence Technology Institute, LT Materials Co., Kyung Hee University, Kangwon National University, and LG Display Co. They exchanged opinions on topics such as the progress of technology development, demonstration plans, and measures to improve the project.

Earlier this year, Gyeonggi Province selected and has been supporting projects through an open call for the "Display Technology Development Support Project," aiming to secure core element technologies in the OLED sector.
Park Minkyung, Director of the Semiconductor Industry Division at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The display industry, along with semiconductors and advanced materials, is one of Gyeonggi Province's key strategic industries and an area of intense global competition. We will strengthen practical support so that companies in the province can secure technological leadership."
