This initiative was designed to provide practical assistance to young people taking their first steps into the workforce. The support packages, which included vouchers for ID photo shoots, shoe gift certificates, and nutritional supplements, were delivered to approximately 30 independent youth in Eunpyeong District, Seoul.
Notably, this activity was carried out with the participation of Sampyo Group's employee volunteer club, 'Blue Hug.' Employees directly purchased and packed the items using a total donation of 7.5 million won, jointly raised by Blue Hug and Sampyo Group.
One of the youths who received the package said, "These items were essential for my job search, but I had postponed buying them, so it was a great help. I especially appreciated receiving the handwritten message cards from the employees, which made me feel supported." Nam Yoonsik, president of Blue Hug, commented, "I hope this small gesture will encourage young people who are working hard to find employment despite difficult circumstances."
Yoo Yongjae, Head of Social Contribution at Sampyo Group, stated, "Our employees came together with one heart to address the real needs of young people who are likely facing many concerns about their studies and employment. We hope this support will serve as a small stepping stone for their new beginnings, and we will continue to expand our social contribution activities for independent youth in the future."
