According to the industry on November 30, Forbes recently announced a list of 500 companies and organizations selected as dream workplaces in the United States, based on a survey conducted in collaboration with the market research firm Statista.
This survey targeted 140,000 employees working at U.S. workplaces with more than 1,000 staff members, as well as 10,000 university students. It comprehensively evaluated job satisfaction across various criteria, including salary level, opportunities for growth within the company, professional development, work environment, and employee benefits.
Nvidia, an artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor company, ranked first among dream workplaces. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Microsoft, Google, and Universal Music Group followed, making up the top tier of the list.
Among Korean companies, only Samsung Electronics (ranked 44th) and LG Electronics (ranked 89th) made it into the top 100. Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics were also the only Korean companies to be included in this survey. Last year, in Forbes’ "Best Employers for Engineers in America" ranking, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics placed 71st and 64th, respectively.
