The Criminal Investigation Division of the Daegu Seongseo Police Station announced on November 29 at approximately 9:30 p.m. that a case involving a deceased person had occurred within its jurisdiction and that an immediate investigation is underway.

According to the police, the cause of death and the presence of any external factors have not yet been determined. The Criminal Investigation Division has promptly dispatched a forensic team to the scene and is conducting a preliminary investigation, which includes securing nearby CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses.

An official from the Seongseo Police Station stated, "We cannot rule out the possibility of a crime at this stage, so we are keeping all options open during the investigation," adding, "Further verification is needed to determine the exact circumstances of the death."

The police are currently reviewing the case, and additional details will be released as the investigation progresses.
