About 2,000 Gather for Buyeo Legislative Report Meeting
Key Achievements Unveiled: National Cemetery and Medical Center Branch
"I record all the requests of county residents and personally verify whether they have been fulfilled. Politicians must speak through results."
On November 29, Kim Minsu, a member of the Chungnam Provincial Council, stated this at a legislative briefing held at Buyeo Youth Hotel, declaring, "I will be a politician who is evaluated by achievements."
The event was attended by Buyeo County Mayor Park Junghyun, Buyeo County Council Chairman Kim Youngchun, county council members Min Byunghui, Yoon Sunye, Kim Kiil, and Noh Seungho, as well as provincial council members Kim Kiseo, An Jangheon, Lee Jeongwoo, Koo Hyungseo, Lee Jiyoon, and Jeon Ikhyeon. According to the organizers, approximately 2,000 people participated.
As the chair of the Health, Welfare, and Environment Committee of the provincial council, Kim cited the successful attraction of the National Cemetery to Buyeo and the establishment of a Buyeo branch of Gongju Medical Center as his representative achievements.
He continued, "When it comes to Buyeo's development, there is no distinction between conservatives and progressives. What matters is the well-being of county residents, and I will never abuse the power entrusted to me. I will repay the trust of the people through my work, meeting their expectations."
Chungnam Province finalized Buyeo as the site for the National Cemetery after considering Buyeo, Hongseong, and Dangjin as candidates. With 200 million won for a feasibility study by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs included in next year's national budget, the project has been officially launched.
In addition, the Buyeo branch of Gongju Medical Center is now within reach, as 150 million won for a feasibility study was included in Chungnam Province's 2025 budget.
County Mayor Park Junghyun commented, "The contents of the legislative report itself serve as a pledge, proving Assemblyman Kim's trustworthiness and competence."
Kang Byunggu, head of the Buyeo branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, emphasized, "Assemblyman Kim was at the center of efforts to establish both the National Cemetery and the medical center branch."
