Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (President Lim Chaecheong) announced on the 27th that it conducted a "Youth Disaster Safety Experience Education" program for 25 children and teenagers at Mangwoo Youth Center in Jungnang-gu, Seoul.
This program was designed to help youth protect themselves and safely assist those around them during disasters, focusing on hands-on experiences across the stages of prevention, preparedness, and response.
The three-hour training was practice-oriented and included fire safety experience, fire evacuation, first aid, earthquake response, and disaster safety kit creation. The participants learned essential actions for real disaster situations by experiencing various scenarios firsthand.

One of the teenagers who participated in the training said, "I used to think fires were just scary after seeing a major accident recently, but after trying it myself, I feel like I know how to respond. I think this will help me in an emergency."
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, said, "Hope Bridge continues to provide education so that youth can view disasters not as something to fear, but as challenges they can prepare for. We hope this experience-based training will help them develop the ability to respond effectively in real-life situations."
