Super rookie Minsol Kim is making an appearance in Cheonan.
On the 30th, she will meet fans at the Doosan We've the Zenith Central Cheonan model house, located in Seongjeong-dong, Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province. This is a fan meeting event for the Doosan Engineering & Construction We've Golf Team. The event will be held over two days, starting on the 29th. All seven team members will attend, including Minsol Kim, Hyejun Park, Yoolin Lee-who have all won titles this year-as well as Kyeol Park, Heejeong Lim, Hyojoo Yoo, and Hyunju Yoo.
Minsol Kim debuted on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour this season and has claimed two victories. She secured her first career win at the BC Card·Hankyung Ladies Cup in August, where she participated as a recommended player, and achieved her second win last month at the Dongbu Construction·Korea Land & Housing Trust Championship. Since she received her KLPGA Tour seed midway through the season, she did not meet the requirement of participating in more than 50% of the tournaments and was therefore ineligible for individual awards.
On the 29th, Hyejun Park, Kyeol Park, Yoolin Lee, and Hyojoo Yoo will participate. On the 30th, Hyunju Yoo, Minsol Kim, and Heejeong Lim will visit Cheonan. The event will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Activities include autograph sessions, a raffle for players' cherished items, and various prize giveaways, offering a rich program for attendees. Fans will have the opportunity to experience the unique family-like bond and passion for fans that define the Doosan Engineering & Construction We've Golf Team. The Doosan Engineering & Construction We've Golf Team has secured four wins this season. In July, Hyejun Park delivered the team's first-ever victory at the Lotte Open. Minsol Kim added two wins in August and October, while Yoolin Lee earned one more win at the Sangsangin·Hankyung Wownet Open in October.
At the Central Cheonan model house, the first special exhibition in collaboration with Zenith, titled "Zenith Gallery," is being held. The exhibition will run for about a month. Visitors can view eight works by world-renowned artists representing Korea, the United States, and Japan in one place, including Nam June Paik, a pioneer of video art; Lee Bae, a contemporary Korean artist noted for his innovative use of charcoal; George Condo, a leading figure in American contemporary art; and Takashi Murakami, a prominent Japanese pop artist.
