Baedal Minjok Receives Regulatory Sandbox Approval for Motorcycle LED Delivery Box Pilot... "Verifying Public Interest Utilization Model"

Pilot to Launch in Select Areas of Seoul in December, with Gradual Expansion
Verifying Safety, Public Interest, and Advertising Effectiveness

Baedal Minjok is launching a new pilot project that uses motorcycles to deliver public interest messages. Through this pilot, the company aims to contribute to the transition to eco-friendly mobility and the creation of a safer delivery environment.

Woowa Brothers announced on the 27th that it has received regulatory sandbox approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority for its "advertising service using LED delivery boxes on motorcycles." The company will begin full-scale operations in select areas of Seoul starting in December.

This pilot project aims to verify the potential of LED delivery boxes to enhance safety, secure public interest, and enable the transmission of community-based public messages. The purpose of this private sector-led initiative is to confirm the effectiveness of an eco-friendly advertising model based on electric motorcycles.

During the pilot period, Woowa Brothers will collect and analyze data on the visibility, safety, and advertising effectiveness of the LED delivery boxes, and will propose future directions for regulatory improvements. In particular, the LED delivery boxes are expected to enhance nighttime visibility and reduce the risk of accidents. They will also serve as a platform for delivering public interest content, such as messages from local public institutions and advertisements for small businesses, thereby facilitating community-based communication. In the future, riders may also be able to earn additional income through advertising fees.

The project will also promote the wider adoption of eco-friendly electric motorcycles. Woowa Brothers plans to collaborate with Badream, a company specializing in electric motorcycle rentals, to provide participating riders with electric motorcycles. The company is also preparing an operational model that integrates battery swapping infrastructure to enhance user convenience. Through these efforts, the company expects to help reduce carbon emissions and build a local eco-friendly transportation ecosystem.

A Woowa Brothers representative stated, "The LED delivery box pilot is the first step in verifying a new mobility advertising model based on safety and public interest. Through data-driven validation, we will establish institutional safeguards and continue to pursue initiatives that benefit riders, local communities, and small businesses."
