"AI Reveals Exhibition Crowd Levels"... Triplett Demonstrates at 'Cafe Show'

Real-Time Crowd Analysis at Seoul Cafe Show 2025
Enhancing Visitor Convenience and Supporting Organizer Decisions
"Applying the Standard Spatial Intelligence Model to MICE Venues"

Artificial intelligence (AI) spatial intelligence company Triplett provided technology for real-time analysis and management of crowd density throughout the exhibition hall at the recently held 'Seoul Cafe Show 2025'.

This system, developed as part of the Korea Tourism Organization's AI-based integrated tourism innovation service 'AI Gwangjipsa', goes beyond simple guidance to form an integrated management structure that predicts, adjusts, and delivers the entire visitor experience. The Korea Tourism Organization, together with several startups including Triplett, introduced an AI guide to enhance convenience for Cafe Show attendees.

Triplett's DeepLounge AI detects real-time queue status at three registration booths, as well as density and flow patterns across the entire COEX Halls A through D. The analysis results are displayed to visitors via large signage and kiosks installed throughout the exhibition hall.

Given that the Cafe Show attracts over 130,000 visitors annually, real-time crowd information and route guidance are essential to the quality of the visitor experience. The system automatically informs attendees about which entrance is least crowded, the expected wait time if they enter now, and which halls to visit first for the most efficient experience. Even in a busy exhibition hall, visitors can focus on the booths and programs they are interested in without feeling overwhelmed by the flow of people.

Triplett's technology not only improved visitor convenience but also supported the organizers' decision-making, raising the overall quality of the exhibition. The AI detected changes just before queues at registration became excessively long and suggested alternative routes before crowds began to concentrate in specific areas.

Shin Donghwa, CEO of Triplett, said, "AI is not a technology that stands at the forefront of the exhibition, but rather one that organizes the flow behind the scenes so people can enjoy and experience more deeply and comfortably." He added, "AI will quietly keep pace in the background so visitors can focus on the aroma of coffee and the stories of each brand." He also stated, "Based on this demonstration, we plan to expand the standardized spatial intelligence model to major MICE venues across Korea."
