Nuri Rocket Launch Pad Installation Delayed by Strong Winds... Completion Expected on Morning of 26th

The installation work for the Nuri rocket, a Korean launch vehicle scheduled for launch in the early morning of the 27th, will continue until the morning of the 26th.

The Space Agency and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute announced on the evening of the 25th, at 8:26 PM, that they were in the process of installing the Nuri rocket on the launch pad.

After completing the erection on the launch pad at 1:36 PM that day, the Nuri rocket underwent electrical and air conditioning umbilical connections and a signal check for the launch vehicle.

The Korea Aerospace Research Institute stated that the attitude control system check is also scheduled to be completed today.

However, due to adverse weather conditions, including a strong wind advisory, the pneumatic umbilical connection and airtightness check are planned to be completed in the morning of the 26th.

The Korea Aerospace Research Institute explained, "We plan to complete the remaining work within the morning and proceed with the launch as scheduled."
