Hope Bridge is conducting comprehensive fire safety experience education for children under Dream Start in Ganghwa County. Hope Bridge
Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (President Lim Chaecheong) announced on November 24 that it conducted disaster safety experience education for around 20 children under the Dream Start program in Ganghwa County, Incheon (County Governor Park Yongcheol).
This training was designed to help children develop the skills needed to respond in disaster situations. Through hands-on programs covering prevention, preparedness, and response stages, the goal was to foster safe habits in daily life and strengthen their ability to respond in emergencies.
The education included ▲fire evacuation, ▲earthquake response role play, ▲crowd safety training, ▲first aid, and ▲disaster safety kit making. Children who usually have limited access to safety education were able to learn disaster response actions directly through practice-oriented programs.
One participating child said, "Through this experience, I learned how to act when a disaster occurs," and added, "I feel I could respond calmly even if something urgent happens."
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, stated, "I hope this training will help children develop the ability to respond calmly even in disaster situations," and added, "Hope Bridge will continue to expand disaster safety education so that local children can grow up safely."
