This project targets a total of 10 households in need of assistance. It focuses on improving outdated living conditions by replacing wallpaper and flooring, installing LED lighting, and other measures, with the goal of enhancing practical convenience and safety in daily life.
The "Love House Repair Project" is a public-private partnership housing welfare program that began in Sasang-gu in 2023 and has since expanded sequentially to Saha-gu, Haeundae-gu, Dongnae-gu, and Busanjin-gu and other areas in Busan. To date, it has supported improvements for a total of 107 households and 11 senior centers, establishing itself as a leading collaborative model for addressing regional welfare issues.
Son Daejin, Head of the Busan Business Group at Busan Bank, who participated in the launch ceremony, said, "We hope this project will make the living environment of Suyoung-gu residents safer and more comfortable," adding, "Busan Bank will continue to carry out social contribution activities to improve the quality of life for neighbors in need."
Last September, Busan Bank participated in the "Korea Makeover Week" campaign, conducting urban cleanup activities in the Seomyeon area of Busanjin-gu with the participation of over 100 employees, continuing its ESG initiatives for mutual growth with the local community.
