"Supporting Artistic Creation,
Utilizing Funds for Diverse Projects"
On November 21, BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) donated 30 million won in development funds to the Busan Cultural Foundation at Seokcheon Hall, F1963, in Suyeong-gu, with the aim of revitalizing the local culture and arts scene.
Since its establishment in 2009, the Busan Cultural Foundation has pursued a vision of "Art that accompanies my life, Busan as a city of shared happiness through culture," and has promoted a variety of cultural and artistic projects, including support for cultural and artistic creation, cultivation of youth culture, revitalization of everyday cultural activities, and the Joseon Tongsinsa cultural exchange project.
The funds delivered this time will also be used for various projects to support local artistic creation and expand citizens' access to culture.
Moon Jungwon, Chief Customer Officer (CCO) of Busan Bank, stated, "We hope that local artists can continue their creative work in a stable environment and that citizens can enjoy a richer cultural life," adding, "We will continue to carry out a variety of support activities to ensure the sustainable growth of the local culture and arts industry."
Busan Bank holds the "Play on Busan" cultural performance every month to provide local residents with opportunities to enjoy culture and the arts, and is taking the lead in supporting local cultural and artistic projects such as the Busan International AI Film Festival and the Busan Fireworks Festival.
