Three Sessions Scheduled from November 25 to December 10
Jeonju City and the Jeonju Urban Regeneration Support Center will host a special lecture series titled "2025 City, Society, and Architecture Special Lecture" to mark the 10th anniversary of urban regeneration. The series, which invites participants to reflect on the future of the city, will be held three times from November 25 to December 10.

According to the city on November 21, the special lectures will take place over three sessions, coinciding with the Urban Regeneration Forum and the contest awards ceremony. Leading experts in urban planning, social policy, and architectural philosophy will visit Jeonju to participate.
The lecture on November 25 will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Daul Madang of the Jeonju Urban Regeneration Support Center, featuring Kyung Shinwon, CEO of the Urban and Community Research Institute, who will speak on the topic "Re:city, Attractive Cities-Reborn through Creative Destruction." The lecture will address the elements that make a city attractive and the conditions for regeneration.
On November 27 at 10:00 a.m., Euminsu, a research professor at Korea University's Graduate School of Public Policy, will deliver a lecture at the Daul Madang on "A New Social Contract: The Philosophy and Policy of the Basic Society," discussing social systems and policy directions within the city, including local care and income security.
On December 10 at 3:00 p.m., the final session will be held at the Jeonju City Hall auditorium, where Seung Hyo-sang, a renowned Korean architect and CEO of IROJE Architects & Planners, will meet with Jeonju citizens to discuss "Our Cities and Architecture in This Era."
A city official stated, "This lecture series will be an opportunity to reflect on 10 years of urban regeneration and imagine the future, sharing deep insights into cities, architecture, and the role of the public sector. We hope it will provide a multidimensional understanding of the city through the diverse perspectives of experts in each field."
