TFs Established at 49 Central Administrative Agencies
Ministry TF to Operate Until January Next Year
Actions Planned After Identifying Officials Involved in Martial Law
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety has launched an internal task force (TF) to identify and take action against internal public officials who participated in or cooperated with the 12·3 Martial Law.
On November 20, the ministry announced the operation of the "Ministry of the Interior and Safety Constitutional Respect Government Innovation TF." Previously, at a Cabinet meeting on November 11, it was decided that all 49 central administrative agencies would establish a "Constitutional Respect Government Innovation TF." The Ministry of the Interior and Safety is included among the agencies subject to intensive inspection.
The ministry's TF will be headed by the minister and consist of a total of 12 members. To ensure objectivity and neutrality, external advisory members will participate. The TF will operate from November 24, 2025, until January 30, 2026.
The TF will investigate cases in which ministry officials directly participated in or cooperated with the 12·3 Martial Law, aiming to restore constitutional order and public trust in the civil service. The investigation will be conducted within the necessary scope in accordance with the Constitution and due process. Based on the investigation results, disciplinary actions and other personnel measures will be taken against key individuals responsible.
In addition, the TF plans to operate a reporting center on the ministry's website until December 12, 2025, to receive reports regarding ministry officials who participated in or cooperated with the martial law.
