According to the center on November 19, the auction will take place over two days, on November 26 and 27, providing an opportunity for farmers to acquire high-priced equipment at reasonable prices.

The items for sale consist of 178 machines across 65 types, including seeders, which were previously used at the rental business center but have either surpassed their durability period or have been designated as obsolete due to excessive repair costs.

The city intends to use this event to both clear out obsolete assets from the rental business center and encourage farmers to recycle them, thereby helping to reduce agricultural production costs.

The auction will be held twice: on November 26 at the main Agricultural Machinery Rental Center and on November 27 at the Northern Agricultural Machinery Rental Center. The bidding process involves a prior briefing and inspection of the items, with the winning bid awarded to the participant who offers the highest price above the appraised value.

Eligibility is limited to farmers whose registered address in the resident registration system is Jeongeup City as of the announcement date.

An official from the Jeongeup Agricultural Technology Center stated, "Through this sale, we expect to efficiently recycle obsolete agricultural machinery and reduce the financial burden on farmers purchasing equipment in this era of high prices. We will continue to make multifaceted efforts to enhance the convenience of farmers in the future."
