Initech, a security specialist company, announced on the 18th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and the enhancement of security across industries with its AI security subsidiary Ininext and the industry-specialized AI company Machinarax.
At the event held at Machinarax headquarters, key executives from both companies attended and discussed strategies for building safe AI service models applicable to industrial sites, as well as directions for technological cooperation.
Initech is focusing on research and commercialization of AI security technologies based on its accumulated expertise and customer network in the financial security sector. Recently, the company has established a next-generation security system based on 'Zero Trust' and is providing trusted security infrastructure across various industries. In addition, through its AI security subsidiary Ininext, Initech continues to drive R&D in new technologies and the development of AI security solutions.
Initech’s flagship AI security solution, 'Secure AI,' is an integrated security platform that helps ensure the safe operation of generative AI models. It provides comprehensive security features throughout the entire AI service lifecycle, including data access control, model validation, and encryption. Through this, the company is able to meet a range of compliance requirements, such as fulfilling AI security guidelines for financial and public institutions, applying KCMVP-certified encryption modules verified by agencies under the National Intelligence Service, and adhering to international standards like the OWASP Top 10 security vulnerabilities. Recently, Initech has secured references in the defense, public, and private sectors. According to the company, it has established an industry-leading, domain-specialized security system.
Machinarax supplies high-performance vertical AI solutions specialized for various industries, including manufacturing, defense, and the public sector. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly develop safer and more reliable industrial AI services by integrating Initech’s 'Secure AI' with Machinarax’s own platform, 'Runway.'
Kim Chulkyun, CEO of Initech, stated, "This agreement marks a meaningful starting point for building a 'safe AI ecosystem,' which is a core challenge in the era of generative AI." He added, "By combining Initech’s security expertise with Machinarax’s industrial AI capabilities, we will create an AI environment that customers can trust."
Yoon Sungho, CEO of Machinarax, commented, "In industries such as manufacturing and defense, security is not just important-it is essential. No AI can function in these fields without security."
