Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province has officially launched efforts to foster artificial intelligence (AI) talent, which is seen as a key driver of future growth.

Yangsan City has signed a "business cooperation agreement for fostering local talent in the field of artificial intelligence" with Yangsan Artificial Intelligence High School. The two parties agreed to work together to nurture technical talent in the region and to promote regional development based on digital innovation.

The main focus of the agreement is on sharing resources and exchanging information to foster talent in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital technology.

Yangsan City plans to leverage the technological skills and creativity of students to address a variety of local administrative challenges. In addition, the city will spare no effort in providing various programs and support to help young talent grow and settle in the region.

The city is exploring a range of initiatives to drive smart city innovation through artificial intelligence and to ensure the sustainable settlement of young talent in the area. Through this agreement, the city expects that fostering talent in the field of artificial intelligence will contribute to the local community. Through this agreement with Yangsan Artificial Intelligence High School, Yangsan City plans to provide students with access to public data and support AI learning, offering them opportunities to maximize their potential.

The two institutions will develop and implement programs to support youth career development and entrepreneurship, as well as joint projects for AI-based smart city innovation.
