Dongjak-gu to Host World-Renowned Violinist Hansoojin Recital on the 26th

Dongjak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Ilha), will host the 'Hansoojin Violin Recital' at 7:30 p.m. on November 26 at Sotaesan Hall, Won-Buddhism, Hyeonchung-ro. This performance is organized and presented by the Dongjak Cultural Foundation.

World-renowned violinist Hansoojin made her name known at the age of 15 by becoming the first Korean and the youngest ever to win second prize at the prestigious International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition. Since then, she has continued her career on the global stage, performing with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Philharmonic.


For this recital, she will be joined by pianist Peter Ovtcharov to present works from various eras, ranging from Beethoven to Prokofiev. The performance promises to offer a stage that can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages, with profound interpretations and delicate playing.


The concert will run for 90 minutes and is open to 440 local residents, elementary school students and older. Those who wish to attend can reserve tickets on a first-come, first-served basis through NOL Ticket (formerly Interpark) starting at 2:00 p.m. on November 17.
