All three employees, including security guards at the logistics center, evacuated safely, and there were no casualties from the fire.

The fire authorities initially issued a Level 1 response, which involves mobilizing all personnel from the local fire station. However, as the clothing stored inside the logistics center acted as kindling and the fire spread rapidly, the response was elevated to Level 2. A Level 2 response is an alert that mobilizes personnel and equipment from five to six neighboring fire stations.

The authorities deployed 11 firefighting helicopters, 150 pieces of equipment, and 430 personnel, and managed to bring the fire under control at around 3:31 p.m. that day.

Completed in July 2014, the logistics center is a large-scale facility with one basement floor and four above-ground floors, a total floor area of 193,210 square meters, capable of simultaneously accommodating 150 cargo trucks, handling up to 50,000 boxes per day and 4 to 5 million boxes annually.

The police and fire authorities plan to investigate the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage after extinguishing the remaining flames.
