Seeking Those Who Contributed to Busan Youth Activities and Policy... Nominations Open for "Youth Activity Awards"

Awards Ceremony to Be Held at Grand Moment Youth Hostel

The Busan Youth Training Facilities Association (Chairman Park Yongha) and Grand Moment Youth Hostel (Managing Director Park Sooyoung) are accepting nominations for the "2025 Youth Activity Awards," which recognize individuals who have contributed to the revitalization of youth activities in the Busan area. Eligible nominees include youth, youth leaders, heads of local governments and assembly members, as well as journalists.

The "2025 Youth Activity Awards" are hosted by the Busan Youth Training Facilities Association and organized by Grand Moment Youth Hostel. The event aims to encourage and honor individuals and organizations who have supported and dedicated themselves to youth activities in Busan. It was established to promote qualitative growth in the youth activity ecosystem and to widely share outstanding case studies from the field.

The awards target leaders who have worked devotedly in the field of youth activities, public officials who have contributed to the development of youth policy, journalists who have supported youth growth and participation, and the youth themselves. A total of 19 awardees will be selected in three categories: ▲ Youth (ages 14-24), ▲ Leader (youth leaders who have worked in the field for more than three years), and ▲ Merit (heads of local governments, metropolitan and local assembly members, and journalists who have contributed to supporting youth policy and activities).

The application forms can be downloaded from the Busan Youth Training Facilities Association website, and submissions will be accepted by email or post until 6 p.m. on December 8.

The final awardees will be announced on December 11 via the website and through individual notifications. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. on December 27 at the Classic Hall of Grand Moment Youth Hostel.

Park Sooyoung, Managing Director of Grand Moment Youth Hostel, stated, "We will seek out those who have quietly and steadfastly dedicated themselves behind the scenes for the development of youth activities in Busan," adding, "We will continue to work to foster a healthy culture led by youth and to strengthen the foundation for community cooperation."

The Busan Youth Training Facilities Association supports the growth and independence of youth through cooperation and network building among youth training facilities in Busan, and contributes to the advancement of youth policy through various experiential and participatory activities.
