Business Agreement Signed with Robotis, Hanyang University, and Gyeonggi Technopark
Recruiting Local Restaurants... Service Launches Next Month
Starting next month, Ansan City in Gyeonggi Province will launch a campus-based autonomous delivery robot service at Hanyang University ERICA.

On the 10th, Ansan City signed a "Service Robot Business Agreement" with Robotis, Hanyang University ERICA, and Gyeonggi Technopark at Gyeonggi Technopark.
This agreement covers the introduction of a campus-based delivery robot service at Hanyang University ERICA using "Ant," an autonomous delivery robot developed by RobotisAI, a subsidiary of Robotis.
Robotis plans to recruit local restaurants and other businesses interested in participating in the autonomous delivery robot project and officially launch the service starting next month.
The participating organizations expect that the introduction of this service will not only help small business owners and citizens struggling with the economic downturn and rising prices, but will also lead to the adoption of various types of service robots in the future.
Lee Mingeun, Mayor of Ansan, stated, "With the introduction of autonomous delivery robots, we will actively support Ansan's leap forward as a leading city in the advanced robotics industry."
On the same day, the city also held the "Ansan City Robotics Industry Policy Seminar" alongside the agreement ceremony. The seminar was organized to share the city's direction for supporting the robotics industry with companies and institutions, and to explore support measures for companies seeking to adopt robotics solutions.
More than 100 local companies interested in introducing robotic processes, as well as organizations participating in the Ansan Robotics Working Group, attended the event.
