On November 10, Hampyeong County in Jeonnam announced that it is promoting the excellence of Hampyeong's agricultural and specialty products in Vietnam, accelerating efforts to develop the global brand "K-HC (Hampyeong County) Food."
From November 7 to 9, Hampyeong County participated in the "K-VIETNAM POP-UP FESTA in Dalat" held in Dalat, Lam Dong Province, Vietnam, where it promoted Hampyeong's signature agricultural and specialty products and engaged in exchange activities to expand overseas sales channels.
This Dalat pop-up festival was organized to enhance cultural and business exchanges between Korea and Vietnam. It was a multifaceted event that combined not only performances but also corporate exhibition booths and a variety of industries, including K-Food, fashion, and beauty.
During the event, Hampyeong County showcased local signature products such as Shine Muscat grapes, dried seaweed (gim), and red bellflower root extract, attracting significant interest from local buyers and consumers.
Hampyeong Shine Muscat grapes, in particular, received positive reviews locally for their sweet taste and outstanding quality, drawing attention as a promising export item in Vietnam's rapidly growing imported fruit market.
During the festival, the county also communicated directly with local consumers through live commerce broadcasts, while simultaneously sharing the vibrant festival atmosphere with audiences in Korea.
In addition, Hampyeong County explored ways to expand sales channels in connection with its online shopping mall, "Hampyeong Cheonji Mall," aiming to lay the foundation for building a global sales network in the future.
Lee Sangik, Mayor of Hampyeong County, said, "I hope that Hampyeong's outstanding agricultural and specialty products, including Shine Muscat grapes, will grow into a leading brand not only in Vietnam but also throughout the Southeast Asian market. We will establish a global export system for Hampyeong's agricultural and food products, recognized worldwide, centered on the 'K-HC Food' brand."
