Professor Lee Hoseon's Special Lecture Concludes with Enthusiastic Response

Conversations That Open the Heart,
Communication That Revives Relationships

Chilgok County in North Gyeongsang Province successfully held the "2025 Chilgok Academy 4th Special Lecture by Professor Lee Hoseon" on November 5 at the Grand Performance Hall of the Educational and Cultural Center, receiving an enthusiastic response.

This lecture, themed "Conversations That Open the Heart, Communication That Revives Relationships," focused on communication and empathetic dialogue methods that can resolve conflicts in all types of relationships, including couples, family, and friends. More than 500 residents attended, sharing a meaningful time of empathy.

Professor Lee Hoseon stated, "Throughout our lives, we must continue to understand others and ourselves through learning," and added, "If we create meaning in the present and communicate with the world, we will be able to find joy in our own lives."

Professor Lee also emphasized, "Just as I am different from who I was yesterday, the other person is also a different person each day. Therefore, instead of making assumptions, we should ask questions when interacting with others." She highlighted that conversation and communication are the starting points for improving relationships.

A resident who participated in the lecture said, "I was comforted by the relatable stories, and the special lecture gave me an opportunity to reflect more on communication with my family and those around me."

Chilgok County has organized the "Chilgok Academy" program to satisfy residents' intellectual curiosity and foster cultural awareness by inviting distinguished speakers from various fields. Starting with a special lecture by announcer Lee Geumhee, followed by Oh Eunyoung for the second session, Sean for the third, and Professor Lee Hoseon for the fourth, the series has attracted a total of over 1,500 residents and has been conducted successfully.
