"Travel Show 2025" is the largest travel expo of the second half of the year, featuring participation from local governments across Korea, overseas organizations, and travel companies. The event serves as a platform to present new directions and trends in regional tourism.

At this event, the council promoted unique tourism resources centered on the Nakdong River, such as local cuisine, festivals, and attractions. By publicizing joint projects, the council enhanced the integrated brand value of Nakdong River tourism. Notably, the pavilion received high praise for its innovative planning and the well-coordinated operation by the alliance of local governments, earning the top award in the "Regional Coexistence and Cooperation" category.

The promotion pavilion, themed "Following Taste and Style Along the Nakdong River," was organized to showcase distinctive local foods, festivals, and tourism courses from each region at a glance. In the "Taste" zone, local specialties such as Yangsan Minari, Gimhae Dwitgogi, Miryang Pork Rice Soup, Buk-gu Gupo Noodles, and Daejeo Raw Gizzard Shad were introduced. The "Style" zone highlighted representative festivals and cultural events from the seven participating local governments.

In addition, the "Along the Nakdong River" zone featured major tourist destinations along the river, such as Samnak Ecological Park in Sasang and Eulsukdo in Saha. An interactive booth allowed visitors to write down their recommended tourist spots from the seven local governments, capturing their interest.

The council also promoted joint initiatives such as the "Nakdong River FESTA" and the "Nakdong River Mobile Stamp Tour," presenting the potential for interconnected tourism centered on the Nakdong River.

Within the pavilion's photo zone, visitors could participate in hands-on programs such as prize draws, coin toss games, and social media certification events. The council provided commemorative gifts and tourism souvenirs from the seven local governments as prizes.

In particular, public officials directly handled the planning and operation of the pavilion, resulting in a site-friendly and dynamic experience that resonated strongly with younger generations and family visitors. This was cited as a key factor in winning the top award.

Na Dongyeon, Mayor of Yangsan and Chair of the Nakdong River Council, stated, "Operating this joint promotion pavilion was a meaningful achievement, as all seven cities along the Nakdong River worked together to widely promote the region's appeal. We will continue to pursue joint marketing efforts so that the Nakdong River region can establish itself as the leading tourism brand of the southern area."

The Nakdong River Council is an administrative body comprised of seven local governments: Yangsan, Gimhae, Miryang, and the Buk-gu, Sasang-gu, Gangseo-gu, and Saha-gu districts of Busan. The council aims to resolve shared issues and promote mutual development in the environment, culture, and tourism sectors of the middle and lower Nakdong River region.
