Management of Seoul Exam Venues Expanded to Over 80 Locations
LG Electronics is conducting pre-inspections of the heating and cooling system air conditioners at college entrance exam venues ahead of the 2026 academic year College Scholastic Ability Test, to ensure that test-takers can take the exam in a comfortable environment.
Hyem Solutec, which is responsible for maintaining LG Electronics’ system air conditioners, is carrying out on-site inspections at the exam venues until November 12. Service engineers are meticulously checking the operation of the outdoor unit fans, signs of overheating, and the maintenance of classroom temperatures, managing the systems to ensure a stable heating environment on the day of the exam.
Since 2010, Hyem Solutec has visited college entrance exam venues every year to inspect the operation of heating and cooling equipment. In particular, since last year, the company has managed exam venues in Seoul equipped with the ‘LG BECON Cloud’ system, and this year, the number of managed venues has been expanded to around 80 locations.
Service engineers from HiM Solutec, responsible for maintenance of LG Electronics system air conditioners, are inspecting the heating and cooling system air conditioners installed at the college entrance exam sites for any operational issues. LG Electronics.
LG BECON Cloud is a solution that monitors and remotely controls the operating status of system air conditioners. At the Hyem Solutec control center, the heating operation status of each exam venue is monitored in real time, and the ‘AI Fault Prediction’ function detects any signs of malfunction in advance, allowing service engineers to be dispatched immediately. Schools where the solution has not been implemented can request pre-inspection through the customer service center.
On the day of the exam, emergency response personnel will be stationed near the venues, and hotlines will be established with each school to ensure prompt action in the event of product malfunctions.
Hyem Solutec operates the ‘LG Best Care’ maintenance service for a diverse range of customers, including public and administrative institutions, medical facilities, hotels and resorts, and universities. The company provides customized services such as disassembly cleaning, emergency dispatch, and energy-saving reports in various combinations, thereby enhancing the operational efficiency of customer facilities.
Yu Kwangryul, CEO of Hyem Solutec, stated, “We hope that examinees will be able to take the test in a comfortable environment,” and added, “We will continue to create a stable and efficient operating environment through differentiated AI-based maintenance services.”
