[Photo] Minister of Culture Visits Jongmyo Shrine

On November 7, Choi Hwi-young, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, visited Jongmyo Shrine with Heo Min, Administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration. After touring the Jeongjeon Hall, Minister Choi stated in a press conference, "We will take every possible measure to take the lead in protecting our cultural heritage." This statement follows the Supreme Court's final ruling against the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the plaintiff, in the lawsuit seeking to nullify the Seoul Metropolitan Government's revised ordinance on cultural property protection.
